MY MEMORIES

my memories has released version 3 of their amazing software!! The new version has a lot of great features including the ability to customize the size  of your page to almost any size, you can now also add more then one embelishment at a time.there is a new awesome grouping feature which allows you to create a cluster or group of elemebts and you can then resize or move it as a whole this is really great. also the program now gives you more information so you can find things easlier. There are a lot of great new features. The program was already great and they made it even better.. how could it get any better.......... it can because mymemories is allowing me to give away a free copy of their software!!!!  so if you are interested you have to do 2 simple things and then I will choose one ramdom winner on  december 16th.

BUZZZZZ

so I get the pleasure of receiving free samples from buzzagent sometimes and in return I get to tell people about the products. SO my latest free sample was a bag of hills science diet dog food. then muber one ingredient in it is....... chicken real chicken not a bunch of fillers and it has veggied in it and not undigestable corn but veggies with nutrients!! so when i got my new bag of dog food I brought it in the house and set it down on the floor next to the other bag of our regular food and my pupy went crazy. he was pawing at the unopened bag sniffing all around it. he was super excited about this umopened bag of food. It was pretty funny to watch. I was really not expecting such a fun reaction from the dog I would have been happy to just report that he ate the food. so when i actually opened the bag and gave him some he was very happy to eat it ad did not leave any in his bowl. well hills has me sold with high quality foods and puppy loves it!!!!

I have been a scrapbooker for a long time. I started paper scrapbooking in1999 after seeing a friends amazing scrapbook. Looking back now I think it is funny to see my first pages. I invested a lot of time and money into it, stopping at the craft store often to look for new things. I collected a whole room full of supplies,papers and tools. I did have a scrapbooking software I purchased but I thought it was just for printing frames or embellishments I had no idea how fun digital scrapbooking could be. Rakscraps was my inspiration. I was excited and told my husband all about it and he said it was cheating and all the money I put into real scrapbooking would be wasted.

So once I discovered digital scrapbooking I had to find the perfect software....... I am a huge comparison shopper so First I tried out some of the free programs available including scrapbook flair (OK but had too many glitches), gimp (free but not for a more advanced program not so easy to learn),

after some trial and error I bought scrapbook factory deluxe. It served its purpose for a while but left me limited as to how much I could do. Then I found my memories suite.
My memories suite is the best scrapbooking software . There is no limit to what you can do with this program. It is very user friendly and easy to learn (my 4 year old loves to make her own pages).my Memories helps everyone creat amazing scrapbooks using templates or your own creations with simple drag and drop features  You can use any scrapbook kits from the my memories site or any other outside content you purchase from other designers or get free from sites like RAKSCRAPS. You can add pictures embellishments, Video and even narration to your pages. (my 4 year old loves adding her own voice to her pages) You can share your pages or whole albums in a variety of ways and make copies for family members. You can download and install this program and be making your first page in a very short period of time and as you progress in your abilities and want to do the more advanced things there video tutorial available online to learn anything new and there is always a friendly person on the my memories facebook page willing to help answer questions or send you a link to the tutorial for the specific thing you are trying to lean. So I was chosen to be a buzz agent where I am given products to try so that I can tell people what I think of the products. So most recently I was given a free 1 year of trend micro titanium.

I am pleased to share that since I began using the program I have had no virus infections. I have been able to use the system cleaner to recover space on my hard drive and  one of my favorite parts of the software is that it will scan links on facebook and show threats before you ever click on them so I know in advance if  a link on facebook is not safe. Before using this program I did get more then one virus from clicking links on facebook that looked like it was from a friend. This seems to be a great protection program a steep up from what I was using.

I have been a scrapbooker for about 11 years. I started with regular paper scrapbooking. I did that for years and I love my physical paper albums but about 6 years ago I discovered Digital scrapbooking and I have been converted. I love the freedom digital scrapbooking gives you and there is NO MESS!!! Once I had children I had more reason to scrap but less time and no place for the mess as I had to give up my scrapbook room for a baby room.  That is when I found RAK scraps which is a great little online community for digi scrapbookers that offer a free mega kit every month to members. I joined and learned with them and have grown to love everything about both the site and digi scrapbooking.

I am now learning to design digital elements and as I learn I would like to be able to give the things I create to other scrapbookers out there and so that is why I created this blog.
